Experience Highlights
- Gangtok : Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan Mountain Ranges.
Arrival at NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport / Siliguri Bus Stand and transfer to Gangtok Hotel.
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station, Your group leader will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok. Nearly 135 kilometers 04 ½ - 05 hour’s drive to Gangtok from NJP/ Siliguri. Check in into hotel & evening is free to roam around MG Marg (Mall) or local Shopping Centre. Dinner & over Night stay at Gangtok Hotel.
Full day Gangtok Local Sightseeing.
After Breakfast at hotel, go for a full day local sightseeing at Gangtok, covering Rumtek Monastery, Bon Jhakri Water Fall, Do-rul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Saturday &Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Saturday &Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays) and Flower Exhibition Show (Closed on Saturday &Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays). Overnight at Hotel.
Full Day Excursion to Changu Lake, New Baba.
After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Chhangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 02 Hrs one way from Gangtok) & New Baba Mandir (13100 Ft / 3994 Mts / 16 Kms in 01 Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400 Ft / 43 Kms in 03 Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. Back to Gangtok by evening and Overnight at Hotel. Note: Documents Required: 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID – Pan Card & Adhar Card is not accepted). For Child below 18 years School Id / Collage Id is must. Original to be brought with self.
Gangtok – Lachen (107 kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,500 ft.), North Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall.On arrival at Lachen check into your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachen.
Lachen – Chopta Valley – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung.
Early Morning drive to Chopta Valley (13,200 ft.) & Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft.). Back to hotel & after lunch transfer to Lachung (8,700 ft). Arrive Lachung by evening.Dinner at hotel.Overnight stay at Lachung.
Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion - Gangtok Hotel
After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties.Back to resort.Overnight stay at Lachung. After lunch proceed to Gangtok. On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see Mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik view point.On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel.Rest of the evening free for your own activities.Overnight stay at Gangtok.null
Gangtok – NJP Rly Station / IXB airport (120 kms / 5 hrs).
After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

Note:- Tiger hill visit is subjected to availability of coupons as only 600 vehicles are allowed in the morning. In case of non-availability of coupons, we will provide the tiger hill visit after breakfast.
If the sightseeing points like Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Zoological Park falling on Thursday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays then we will include Dali Monastery and Ava Art gallery as an alternative sightseeing.
