- Gangtok : Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan Mountain Ranges.
- Darjeeling: Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.
Arrival at NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport / Siliguri Bus Stand and transfer to Gangtok Hotel.
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station, Your group leader will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok. Nearly 135 kilometers 04 ½ - 05 hour’s drive to Gangtok from NJP/ Siliguri. Check in into hotel & evening is free to roam around MG Marg (Mall) or local Shopping Centre. Dinner & over Night stay at Gangtok Hotel.
Full day Gangtok Local Sight Seeing.
After Breakfast at hotel, go for a full day local sightseeing at Gangtok, covering Rumtek Monastery, Bon Jhakri Water Fall, Do-rul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Saturday &Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Saturday &Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays) and Flower Exhibition Show (Closed on Saturday &Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays). Overnight at Hotel.
Full Day Excursion to Changu Lake, New Baba.
After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Chhangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 02 Hrs one way from Gangtok) & New Baba Mandir (13100 Ft / 3994 Mts / 16 Kms in 01 Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400 Ft / 43 Kms in 03 Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. Back to Gangtok by evening and Overnight at Hotel. Note: Documents Required: 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID – Pan Card & Adhar Card is not accepted). For Child below 18 years School Id / Collage Id is must. Original to be brought with self.
Gangtok Hotel To Darjeeling Hotel Transfer.
After Breakfast at Hotel, Check out from Gangtok Hotel & transfer to Darjeeling (115 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs). Overnight Stay at Darjeeling Hotel.
Full day Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing (3 Points + 7 Points).
Early morning at around 04:00 AM, you will proceed for Tiger Hills Excursion (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). later we will visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monestry. Then return back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast go for an another half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday, Festival and State & National Govt. holidays), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Darjeeling to NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport / Siliguri Bus Stand drop.
Today, Early morning around 05 AM, Check out from Darjeeling Hotel & transfer to Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your return journey.
