Day 01 Welcome to Tokyo – Orientation tour of Tokyo

Tokyo Welcome to Tokyo - Japan’s busy capital. Tokyo is an immaculate amalgam of the ultramodern and the traditional, home to the neon-lit skyscrapers and historic temples. On arrival complete your immigration and customs formalities and later proceed to your conveniently located hotel (Checkin after 15:00).

Day 02 Tokyo city tour

Morning board your coach and proceed for a city tour of Tokyo. We begin with a visit to the observation deck at Tokyo Skytree - Japan’s tallest structure standing 634 meters high. The tower is the regions primary television and radio broadcast site. Later, we proceed to Asakusa Sensoji Temple - an ancient Buddhist temple which is one of the most significant landmarks in Tokyo. Indulge in some souvenir shopping at Nakamise-Dori shopping Street. The bustling street is 250-meter-long and is occupied with colorful souvenirs. Then we proceed for a river cruise - flowing from Arakawa River and running for eight miles (27 kilometers) through the capital before emptying out into Tokyo Bay, the Sumida River (Sumida Gawa) is Tokyo’s lifeblood. Passing under 26 bridges and feeding a network of scenic canals and waterways, Sumida River offers magnificent views of Tokyo. Enroute to the hotel, we drive by Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge - a suspension bridge crossing northern Tokyo Bay between Shibaura Pier and the Odaiba waterfront development in Minato.

Day 03 Day Trip to Mt. Fuji area – Experience adventure at the Komagatake ropeway and enjoy a thrilling ride on the Ninja Bus

 Morning proceed to Mt. Fuji area - Gotemba Peace Park for Mt. Fuji Viewing, the highest and most famous mountain in Japan. It rises 3,776 meters above the sea level. It is considered as one of the most beautiful conical volcanoes in the world and the base of Mt. Fuji forms almost a perfect circle stretching 35 to 40 km from east to west and north to south. The volcano has been inactive for over 250 years. Experience thrill at the Komagatake Ropeway. Later, proceed for a thrilling ride on the Ninja Bus – Water spider. Like a ninja, it glides smoothly across the water. This water bus goes around Hakone Ashinoko.

Day 04 Onto Hiroshima - City tour of Hiroshima and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

This morning, we take the Hi-speed Bullet train - Shinkansen to Hiroshima. On arrival at Hiroshima, proceed on a tour of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum. It is dedicated to the legacy of Hiroshima as the first city in the world to suffer a nuclear attack and to the memories of the bomb's direct and indirect victims. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is visited by thousands of people each year. See the Atomic Bomb Dome. The A-Bomb Dome is the skeletal ruins of the former Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall. It is the building closest to the hypocenter of the nuclear bomb that remained at least partially standing. This has been designated as the World Heritage site.

Note:  Due to limited baggage space on the Bullet train you will have to proceed only with a Hand Baggage with overnight requirements. The check-in baggage will be transported directly to Osaka hotel by a baggage truck.  

Day 05 Visit Torii Gate and onto Osaka

This morning proceed for a visit to Itsukushima Shrine: a Shinto shrine on the island of Itsukushima (popularly known as Miyajima), best known for its "floating" torii gate. Miyajima Island has long been a holy site in shinto, and Itsukushima Shrine was built in the 12th century. The shrine, and the torii gate, are built over water. Later we take the Hi-speed bullet train to Osaka. Upon arrival we proceed to the hotel and check in.

Day 06 Enjoy a guided tour of Nara and visit the Umeda Sky Building.

Morning proceed for tour of Nara. Visit the Todaiji Temple - a Buddhist temple complex, that was once, one of the mighty Seven Great Temples. It’s Great Buddha Hall, houses the world's most massive wooden statue of the Buddha Vairocana. Deer are regarded as messengers of the Gods in the Shinto religion, visit the Nara Deer Park to see the deer roam the grounds freely. The Nara Deer Park located at the foot of Mount Wakakusa was established in 1880 and over 1,200 wild Sika deer freely stroll around the park that stretches over to about 502 hectares. Proceed to Osaka where we visit the Umeda Sky Building, one of the city’s iconic landmarks. On the top is the Floating Garden Observatory, from where you can view Osaka's cityscape from a height of 170 meters. Later, enjoy some free time, street shopping around Shinsaibashi street: the oldest and busiest shopping destination in Osaka. Overnight in Osaka. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 07 Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Kyoto. Enjoy Tea Ceremony of Japan.

Today we proceed on a full day tour of Kyoto. We visit Arashiyama Bamboo Grove - one of the most photographed sights in the city. Standing amid these soaring stalks of bamboo is like being in another world. Visit the Kinkakuji - a Zen Buddhist temple. Kinkakuji, or the Golden Pavillion, is a Zen temple of which the top two floors are covered in gold leaf. Proceed for an exciting train journey. The Sagano Scenic Railway is a wonderful way to tour and enjoy the natural beauty of Arashiyama region. The train has come to be known as the Sagano Torokko, or Romantic Train, because its passage takes guests sightseeing through such romantic scenery. Later visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine. This intriguing shrine was dedicated to the god of rice and sake by the Hata clan in the 8th century. As the role of agriculture diminished, deities were enrolled to ensure prosperity in business enterprises. End the day with a traditional Tea Ceremony – held in a traditional Japanese Tea room. This is a ritual-like activity where ceremonial tea is prepared and presented to promote well-being, mindfulness and harmony.

Day 08 Depart Osaka

A wonderful Holiday into this dreamland of Japan gracefully ends. Check out and depart for the Airport for your flight back to India. (Breakfast)

  •  Airfare is dynamic – subject to airfare availability under group fare. An additional supplement maybe applicable depending on availability at the time of booking – which will be charged over and above the cost.

MEDICAL INSURANCE

  • Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger above the age of 60 years and those passengers who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.

  •  PCR test in any country in case applicable.
  •  The cost of the Passport, POE charges, etc.
  •   Any expenses of a personal nature such as porterage, laundry, wines, mineral/bottled water, food & drink not in the regular menus provided by us, mini bar and telephone calls. 
  •  The Mandatory driver tip of USD 05 per person per day is not included in the tour cost.
  •   Meals are pre-set and a choice of menu is not available.
